Westside Works provides access to the necessary services that foster job success – such as skills assessments, skills training, and job readiness preparation.

Initial Assessment

Initial Assessment

Executed by Integrity CDC staff, after registration and orientation, participants are assessed in the following areas: Career Aptitude (O’NET), Basic Education (TABE), Needs (supportive services referrals), Criminal Background (self-reported) and Skills.

Following the assessment phase, participants  are scheduled for an intake interview, where the intake specialist/case manager will make recommendations concerning a career path, training options, remediation and next steps.

Development

Development

Job readiness skills training, Office Operations, Construction, IT, CDA (Childhood Development Associate), CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), Culinary and Auto Technician.

Placement

Placement

Living wage job placement along with employment retention through the first 12 months of employment.

Support Services

Support Services

Varies by individual participant and can include earned benefits screening, clothing for interviews and referrals upon request.
